Mulled Dr Pepper

When we discovered this recipe on Taste of Home’s website, we were on cloud wine. Why? Because mulled wine is such a nostalgic winter drink, that is rarely work appropriate. However, this recipe aims to capture the sweet and highly seasoned complexity of mulled wine with an alcohol free alternative – Dr Pepper. Here is the single-serve recipe inspired by the original recipe. Take a can or bottle of Dr Pepper from the Seattle, Tacoma, Puget Sound vending machine and pour it into a microwave safe mug. Add a pinch of brown sugar and ground allspice. Use 4 cloves, ½ cinnamon stick, and dash of salt and nutmeg.
